Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process all bookkeeping tasks using Xero, ensuring compliance with Australian financial regulations.
  • Accurately handle BAS (Business Activity Statements) and ATO (Australian Taxation Office) requirements.
  • Efficiently manage bank feeds, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and reconciled.
  • Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Develop and maintain various statistical reports, requiring proficiency in Excel.
  • Additional tasks as instructed by the client.

Role Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience working with Australia-based companies doing similar tasks.
  • Proven experience as a Xero Bookkeeper, specifically with Australian financial processes.
  • Strong understanding of BAS, ATO requirements, and general Australian financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in creating statistical reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
